Rasbory fishes

Brilliant Aquarium Sparks

Rasbory- carp fishes inhabiting water bodies of South Asia and Africa. These ornamental fish are distinguished by their colorful and many forms. They are quite unpretentious in care and nutrition, they adapt well in new conditions and are highly active.

Variety rasbor

Rasbor is divided into 2 groups:

  • danaconius - relatively large fish, reaching up to 20 cm;
  • heteromorph or dwarf rasbor - small species not exceeding 10 cm in size.

According to the external description of these fish are divided into groups by body structure:

  • torpedo-shaped and elongated shape (red-striped, spotted, trilinear rasbor);
  • high and wide body (heteromorph, hengel, pearl).

Rasbor galaxy is a relatively new species and differs from the representatives of a kind of unique iridescent coloring. The galaxy also has other names: "fireworks", "margaritat", stellar exploration ".

The galaxy has tiny dimensions due to which it was called a micro-disassembly. The body is motley, can vary from blue-green to blue-steel, decorated with multi-colored spots. Rasbora galaxy in size reaches 2 cm. Males are painted in gray-black color with bright dots, on fins bright red longitudinal stripes. Females are much more modest, there are transparent red opalines on their fins.

Fish are usually kept in the amount of 30 pieces, their life lasts 2 years. The habits of the galaxy resemble guppy fish. The volume of the aquarium for one pair is 5 liters, the water temperature is 25-27 ° C, the acidity is 6.5-8, the hardness is average. The galaxy likes a lot of vegetation and floating plants in which it will be easy for it to hide.

The galaxy feeds on algae, small live food: daphnias, grindal, nematodes, cut bloodworms and dry food.

Breeding rasbor is simple. Due to the gregarious nature of the males all the time competing. A female ready for breeding is recognized by a rounded abdomen and clear dark spots on the abdomen. The female lays up to 30 eggs on bundles of moss or the roots of floating plants. Fry have dark pigmentation. Rasbora galaxy acquires adult color at the age of 3 months.

Rasbora galaxy gets along well with tetras, rassings of Espea, characteristic and iridescent. Sharing with larger and more active fish can lead to shyness or infringement.

The galaxy gets along well with any small peace fish, sometimes males can only drive other males with a brighter color.

Rasbor heteromorph has a lot of other names: Rasbor cuneate or wedge, Harlequin. The places of its natural habitat are rivers and streams of Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. This kit is recommended for beginner aquarists as a peaceful and picky creation.

Distinctive features of this fish are dark purple triangles on the sides and large black eyes with a red and yellow outline. The body color is silver-green or golden, and there is an orange spot on the dorsal fin. Anal and pectoral fins transparent, caudal deeply carved. Body size up to 5 cm.

The body is flattened on the sides, in females the abdomen is fuller, and the triangular pattern is not sharp and reaches only half of the body. In males, the spot is pointed and stretches to the edge of the abdomen.

Fish keep a flock of at least 8 individuals. Particularly impressive razobora klinopyatnisty looks on the background of dark soil with different types of cryptocorynes.

Container for maintenance should be from 50 liters with free space for swimming. Rasboru prefer water mixed with peat extract, soft and 3-4 days apart with a temperature of 23-25 ° C, acidity 6-8, hardness up to 9 °. Filtration and water change are required. The soil may be small pebbles, sand, gravel. Requires the presence of islands densely planted with plants. Fish are susceptible to bacterial infections in dirty water.

Rasbor feed on suitable live food. You can feed with white bread and semolina.

Breeding this rasbora under the force of novice aquarists. Disassembly of the heteromorph reaches sexual maturity at 8-10 months, females mature earlier. In order to avoid unsuccessful spawning, producers choose from 2 years.

Spawning is possible pair or group, for 1-2 weeks it is desirable to keep the females separately from the males. For pair spawning suitable capacity of 5 liters, and for a group of 40 liters with separator mesh at the bottom. Temperature 27-28 ° С, hardness 4-7 °, acidity 6.5. The spawning plant is planted with ludwigiy, aponogeton and cryptocoryne.

During pair spawning, females toss up to 300 eggs on plants, after the mating dance, the male fertilizes eggs. After spawning, the producers are deposited, the larvae appear for 2 days, after 5 days the fry rasbori already swim up. They are fed infusoria, nauplii of Artemia, rotifers. Fry grow quickly and at the age of 1 month they have a distinctive triangle.

Rasbora Espay lives in rivers and lakes in Cambodia and Thailand, looks like a wedge-shaped rasboru. Rasbora espey different bright red-orange color and a smaller wedge-shaped spot. Body length up to 3 cm, and they live a maximum of 4 years in favorable conditions. The fishes are quite bright, mobile and gregarious.

For 10 fish fit capacity of 60 liters with filtration and dense vegetation. Thermostat required, at low temperatures the fish can get sick.

Rasbora espei loves subacidic water containing tannins with hardness up to 11 °, acidity 5.5-7 and temperature 24-28 ° С. Keep on the middle and upper layers of water.

They eat both small live and high-quality frozen and dry food.

Rasbora espey very mobile and active fish, perfectly gets on with guppies, danios, tetras, gourami, barbs.

Water needs to be prepared and softened hardness up to 3 °, acidity up to 6.5. For weeks 2 manufacturers should be seated and abundantly fed. Large-leaved plants are placed on the spawning ground on which the female will spawn. After spawning, the parents are deposited and blacked out the aquarium. The fry will swim on day 4, feed them with small zooplankton.

Razbora brigitty

Razbor Brigitta is one of the smallest representatives of the Rasbor, reaching up to 2.5 cm. The males have a red color and the brightness only increases with age. Especially expressive dominant males. The body is decorated with a black-green stripe along the sideline, bordered with orange stripes. At the end of the line there is a wedge-shaped dot right at the base of the caudal fin.

Care in the aquarium

Rasbor brigitta will be able to settle well in a species aquarium with small-leaf floating, Asian plants and moss. Fishes love to compete with each other in the lighted areas, so it’s best to arrange in a container contrasting places for brightness.

The water temperature is 23-27 ° C, the water should be soft with the addition of preparations of black water and a decoction of peat. It is possible to emphasize the natural biotope by adding dry leaves of oak or almond until they are completely dissolved. Filtration should be weak, the fish are accustomed to life in slow-flowing reservoirs. Water change is carried out once a week, 1/4 part.

Food rasbor brigitta varied, live or frozen food in the form of daphnia, Cyclops, Artemia.

A good neighborhood for rasbor brigitte will be with shrimp and characteristic. Without fear, they can be kept next to the chain catfish or anticyrus.

Breeding is quite simple, occurs in a separate spawning. A decoction of alder cones is added to the water; instead of filtering, you can use sponges with airlift. The main condition is the presence of shelters for the larvae in the form of Javanese moss or riccia. After the appearance of caviar manufacturers leave for another 2-3 days.

The male originally takes the female he has attracted to the thickets of plants, where she throws 30-50 eggs. Fry are fed with nauplii of artemia and lively dust.

Rasbory are very popular and loved by many aquarists. They are livable and unpretentious in the care. Aquarium Rasbor can perfectly complement the nano-composition.

Rasbory maintenance and care

The content of rasbor canyard Since the klyopyatnisty fish picking up fish prefers to dwell in a flock of at least 6 individuals, a fish tank of at least 40 liters is required for comfortable living of the fish. It is best to buy a long aquarium, plant it with algae along the walls and leave enough open space in the center for swimming fish.

As for the parameters

water, it is recommended to maintain the temperature in the range of 23-28 degrees, acidity (pH) 5.5-8.0, hardness (dH) 2-20. If you want your fish to look brighter in the aquarium, then fill the bottom with dark soil and organize a dim lighting, muted plants floating on the surface of the water.

Since the fish are different jumping ability, the aquarium should be covered. As for feeding, the wedge-shaped wedge is an omnivorous fish that readily eats all kinds of live, frozen and dry food.

Breeding and spawning rasbor

It is possible to breed fish from the year, it is from this time that the fish are mature (sometimes a little earlier). For spawning a separate aquarium of at least 15 liters is necessary, with a water level of about 15-20 cm.

A nylon mesh with a 3-5 mm mesh is placed at the bottom of the aquarium. Planted on the grid. The net is needed so that after spawning, the non-fixed calf falls to the bottom (passes through the net), while it is not picked up and the fish are not eaten. Plants will be the basis for retaining caviar, and will also imitate natural, comfortable conditions for fish.
Before spawning in females, as a rule, the belly increases. At this time, the fish (males and females) must be placed in different aquariums and intensively fed for 7-10 days.

Next, transplant a flock of 5-6 fish (male females roughly in half) in a spawning tank. In a spawning aquarium, gradually raise the temperature to 28 degrees, two degrees per day.

An increase in temperature will be a kind of signal to the beginning of spawning. Next, you need to maintain the desired temperature, to provide round the clock aeration and lighting.
Aquarium surely cover with a lid, glass. First, so that the water does not evaporate, and secondly, due to the high activity of the fish during spawning. Fish can just jump out of it.
Spawning at rasbor can begin, both at night and in the morning. Lasts about 2-3 hours. The female turns her belly to the top and throws the eggs onto the leaf, as a rule, from the bottom. The male fertilizes them at this time.

(The female turned over and spawns on a leaf. Two males around her fertilize eggs)

rasbory photo

After spawning, parents should be transplanted, as they represent a threat to caviar. Next, you need to reduce the water level in the aquarium to 10 cm. Reduce the light level, but maintain proper temperature and aeration. Remove the dead (whitened) caviar. In about a day, the larvae will appear from the roe, which will be hung on their “tails”. The larvae feed on the yolk sac. After 7 days, the larvae will swim, it is from this period that they need to be fed.
Feed for fry rasbor is "live dust"

Pickling fish gained love from aquarists of all stripes. It does not require special care, which can not but rejoice the novice, and experienced aquarists love it for its rich potential for selection.

In nature, this fish is found in tropical waters of southeast Asia, as well as from India to Thailand, where there is a slow current. There is soft and dark water, and the crowns of the trees do not give a bright light. The size of the fish depends on the variety and varies from 2.5 to 20 cm. Rasbora - predatory fishIt prefers to hunt invertebrates and insects caught in water in the upper and middle water column.

The nature and compatibility of cuneiform rasbor

These amazing creatures are very mobile and active. They prefer to be in the upper and middle layers of water. Keep them better flocks of at least 10 pieces. In this case, you will reduce the level of stress in the fish and be able to more clearly see the characteristics of their behavior.

School content also brightens the color heteromorph. Especially males, which are in a large flock of females, flourish.

Rasbor can be kept in common aquariums, having thickets from plants and floating algae. They have a very peaceful and livable nature. Neighbors of these fish should be selected approximately the same in size and non-aggressive.

For example, it can be neon, erythrosonus, pretella or other types of tetras.

Large predators such as kissing gourami, black pacu, piranha are absolutely not suitable for sharing with them. They perceive rasbor only as food.

How to create conditions?

Trigonostigma heteromorpha is unpretentious, which means that it is able to adapt to different conditions. However, the minimum content requirements still exist. Here they are:

Aquarium parameters. For a flock of rassbor of 10 individuals, a forty-fifty-liter aquarium is required. The experience of breeders shows that long tanks with thickets along the walls and space for swimming in the middle look most advantageous. From above, the aquarium must be closed, as the fish can jump out of the water.

Aqua. The optimum parameters of water are the temperature of 23-25 ° C, acidity from 6 to 7.8 and hardness from 4 to 15 degrees.

Filtration. It is advisable to install a filter. It may not be very powerful, the main thing is to maintain the purity of the water.

Water changes It is recommended to produce weekly in the amount of 25 percent.

Lighting it is better to install a dull, diffused, muffled.

Priming should be a dark color.

Aqua design. Plants should be planted thickly, leaving room for swimming. You can use cryptocoryne, aponogeton and others, as well as floating species. As decoration and shelter snags will be appropriate.

Important! If the conditions of heteromorph content are unfavorable, for example, water has too low a temperature or there are many nitrogen compounds in it, then the fish become prone to diseases such as oodinosis and ichthyophyriosis.

What and how to feed wedge patch?

In terms of food, these fish are picky. In nature, they eat various insects, worms, larvae and zooplankton. In an aquarium, they can be given all kinds of food: live, frozen, dry.

A fine bloodworm, crustaceans, a tubule, artemia will do well. The main thing is that the food particles should not be large, as the fish simply cannot capture them.

Scalded semolina, oatmeal and crumbled white bread can be used as an additional top dressing.

Males and females

In an adult female, the abdomen is usually more round. Also, females are somewhat larger than their more elegant and colorful males. Another method of determining rasbor sex is to inspect the shape of a dark wedge-shaped mark on the sides of the fish. In males, this mark is clearer and with sharp edges, while in females it is rounded and smoothed.

Feeding aquarium fish must be correct: balanced, diverse. This fundamental rule is the key to successful keeping of any fish, be it guppies or astronotuses. Article "How and how much to feed aquarium fish" talks in detail about this, it outlines the basic principles of the diet and feeding regime of fish.

In this article, we note the most important thing - feeding fish should not be monotonous; both dry and live food should be included in the diet. In addition, you need to take into account the gastronomic preferences of a particular fish and, depending on this, include in its diet ration either with the highest protein content or vice versa with vegetable ingredients.

Popular and popular feed for fish, of course, are dry food. For example, hourly and everywhere can be found on the aquarium shelves of food company "Tetra" - the leader of the Russian market, in fact, the range of feeds of this company is striking. In the "gastronomic arsenal" of Tetra are included as individual feeds for a certain type of fish: for goldfish, for cichlids, for loricarids, guppies, labyrinths, arovan, discus, etc. Also, Tetra has developed specialized foods, for example, for enhancing color, fortified or for feeding fry. Detailed information on all Tetra feeds, you can find on the official website of the company - here.

It should be noted that when buying any dry food, you should pay attention to the date of its production and shelf life, try not to buy food by weight, and also keep the food in a closed state - this will help avoid the development of pathogenic flora in it.

It is possible to distinguish the female from the male in the rasbor clynopyatnisty by a more rounded abdomen. Males are more graceful and more brightly colored. They are also distinguished by a black spot in the form of a wedge, in males it is sharper at the end, and in females it is rounded.
Reproduction Rasbor heteromorph (wedge).
Wedge rassing is one of the most difficult for breeding species. To achieve successful spawning, you need to very carefully select the parameters of water. It is better to take manufacturers at the age of 9-12 months, and feed them with high-quality live food.
It is better to spawn a flock for spawning, where there are two males per female. Water must be very soft, ideally not more than 2 dGH. The water temperature is 26-28C, and in spawning should be cryptocoryne bushes or other types of plants with broad leaves.
Once the spawning aquarium is ready, the flock can be placed in it, but do it better in the evening. In the morning, spawning usually begins, with mating males. They stimulate females, driving those under the wide leaves of plants.
When the female is ready, she turns her abdomen upside down, under a broad leaf of the plant and the male joins her. At this point, the female lays sticky eggs under the leaf, and the male insects them. Spawning lasts for a couple of hours and during this time hundreds of eggs will be set aside.
Once spawning is over, fish should be removed as they can eat the fry after hatching. At a temperature of 28C, the fry will emerge in a day, and within a week it will float. To feed it you need a very small food - egg yolk and infusoria. Video with rasoba klinopyatnisty

Wedge-shaped fish - heteromorph

Razbor heteromorph, or wedge-shaped rasbor (lat. Trigonostigma heteromorpha) is a small freshwater fish of the carp family. Nowadays there are breeding forms of the species - albinos and gold. Natural habitat - Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore. Rasbory inhabit small streams and rivers that flow in the tropical jungle. In such bodies of water, the water is soft and sour, painted in the color of black tea due to leaves falling into the water. This is a schooling fish. Diet in nature - small insects.

More than 50 types of rasbor are known, but razbor of a heteromorph is considered to be the most common in domestic aquariums. Due to its bright color, body size of 3-4 cm, and its peace-loving character, it is very popular. The color of the scales is copper, from the middle of the body begins a black spot of a wedge-shaped form, which ends at the base of the tail. The fish lives in captivity for 3-4 years.

Sex differences are noticeable: females have a rounded belly. The body of the males is strong, elegant and colored brighter. The wedge-shaped spot on the body of males has a pointed end at the tail, in females it is rounded.

Admire the flock wedge-shaped rasbor.

Content policy

Wedge-shaped Rasbor is an unpretentious aquarium fish that has excellent adaptive properties. It is recommended to contain it in the tank of average capacity. On a flock of 7 fish enough 50 liters of water. Parameters of the aquatic environment: temperature 22-26 ° C, pH 6.0-7.5 acidity, hardness - from 2 to 15 °. It can transfer other parameters, but with a difference of no more than 3 units. It is recommended to install an external or internal filter in the aquarium. Once a week it is necessary to update 25% of the water for fresh and clean.

Aquascape for rasbor should resemble a natural biotope. It is recommended to plant as many plants as possible, leaving space for swimming. Cryptocoryne plants, aponogeton, Javanese moss are best suited. If there are snags in the tank, coconut caverns in the form of shelters, then they will help the fish to avoid stress. You can put floating species of plants that will scatter the light. These fish prefer not bright lighting, as in nature, where rivers obscure tropical trees.

Wedge specks can coexist with small tetras, neons, tenants, erythrozonuses. Big fishes cannot be hooked to them, otherwise they will be eaten. You can contain a flock of razbor of 7-10 individuals in a species aquarium. Try not to move them cichlids, barbs, goldfish, gourami. A flock of fish is less stressed and each of them will be painted brighter. Males become brighter if 5-6 females swim near them.

Look at the common wedge-shaped aquarium.

Aquarium races, cinderbags, feed on different feeds, but for a beautiful color scales, they should be given live and frozen food: bloodworms, pipemaker, artemia. Feed must be crushed, because the fish have a small mouth. Insect larvae can also be given. Feeding - 2 times a day in small portions. Once a week you can leave the flock on a fasting day.

How to breed in captivity

Rasbora heteromorpha in captivity spawns with great difficulty. But if you create good conditions for the producers, the breeding can be successful. Water parameters play a key role - the temperature is 26-28 ° C, the hardness is not higher than 2 dGh. One female and two males can spawn. Manufacturers age - from 9 to 12 months. The female should be with a rounded abdomen, and the males are colored brighter than usual.

You can prepare a spawning volume of 20 liters, and place broad-leaved plants (cryptocoryne, anubias) in it. It is necessary to run manufacturers in spawning in the evening. In the morning, spawning will begin when the males begin to stimulate the female to throw eggs. She turns her belly up, and under the wide leaves of the plants she lays sticky eggs on the leaf. The process can take several hours, the clutch will turn out from 200-400 eggs.

After spawning, males and females should be removed from the reservoir in order to avoid eating the eggs and larvae. If the water temperature is 28 degrees, they will hatch after 24 hours, and after 7 days they will swim independently. Perhaps they will turn a few days later. Starter feed for fry - hard-boiled egg yolk ground, ciliates.

Rasbory fishes

Decorative rasbor fish are very popular among home aquarium lovers. This is due to simplicity, quick adaptability to new conditions and the peaceful nature of the fish. However, they are always active, mobile and eat almost any food.

General characteristics of aquarium fish rasbor:

  • the body of the fish is elongated, slightly compressed from the sides;
  • all individuals are kept in the upper layers of water;
  • almost always the male is brighter colored, and the female has a larger body;
  • breeding rasbor is possible in certain conditions and in the presence of a separate aquarium for spawning;
  • South Asia is home to most of the species, and only a couple of species were brought from Africa.

Rasbor types

Rasbor fish are divided into 45 species. The most common ones are:

  1. Rasbor heteromorph, also called wedge or wedge. On the barrels has a dark blue triangle, which is the hallmark of this type. The color of the fins and most of the scales - from copper to red, belly and back - silver or greenish. Length up to 4.5 cm.
  2. Rasbora tape it is distinguished by its diminutiveness, it is considered a dwarf fish. Its maximum dimensions reach 3 cm in length. The color is very diverse, but there are always transverse stripes on the body. Rasbor tape does not like bright light, often hiding in the thickets of plants.
  3. Rasbora spotty has predominantly orange color, so it is inferior in color to its striped relatives. Another name for the fish is the collection of waste paper, hummingbirds. Characteristic features of individuals of this species are dark spots on the body, usually not more than five. Most often the spots have the correct form and are located in the same places in all the fish. Length - 2.5 cm.
  4. Rasbora espey or the firefly differs from its congeners by its dark longitudinal stripe, slightly thickening towards the middle of the body, above which there is another strip of red or golden color. Near the caudal fin is a spot. The main color is yellow or orange. Length - 3 cm.

Content rasbor

Rasbory are fish that prefer to live in a flock, so the best option is to keep them 10-15 pieces in a spacious aquarium. At the bottom of an artificial reservoir you need to put gravel, sand and several large stones. Be sure to have plants. It is better to feed with different feeds, and the light should not be bright.

Bright mosquito - brigit rassom

Brigitte (English Mosquito Rasbora, Latin Boraras brigittae) is small in size, but interesting to aquarists for several reasons. Dimensions to keep it in a small aquarium, bright colors and a peaceful disposition - this is what made it popular. Unfortunately, on the territory of the former USSR, it is not as common as abroad.

Habitat in nature

Brigitte is endemic to the southwestern part of the island of Borneo and there is little information about its habitat. It lives in black water, streams and rivers feeding the wetlands of the forest. Black water is called because of decaying organic matter, leaves, branches that produce coloring matter in it. Such water is distinguished by its softness, high acidity (pH below 4.0), and very little light enters it because of the thick crown of trees covering the sun. On the island of Borneo habitats are under threat due to developing agriculture and the onset of man.

Rasbory themselves are small fish from 13 to 22 mm in length, and Boraras brigittae is one of the smallest among them and one of the smallest fish in the giant carp family. No wonder her English name Mosquito Rasbora translates as razbor-mosquito. Along the sideline of the fish is a solid black and green stripe, and the color of its body is red-orange. Some males have a rich red color, which only becomes deeper with age. In males, the fins are red with black edging, and in females they are pink or orange. The dominant male in the pack is picking up a bright color, while the others are paler than him. True, this happens only after a year of his life.

Content in an aquarium

Razbor brigitta small fish, the maximum length of about 2 cm and does not need large volume. However, they need to be kept in a flock, and the dominant male will control about 25% of the aquarium and, with the aggression unexpected for such a small fish, will drive other males off of it. The recommended volume is difficult to specify, but it is better to start from 50-70 liters.
In nature, they live in water with a small amount of plants and light, but in an aquarium it is better for plants to give them shelter. Mosses, small-leaved plants, floating plants - all this will create a cozy and peaceful world for razbor brigit. The filter can be both external and internal - the main thing is not to create a strong current, since these fish cannot cope with it. The fraction of the soil does not matter, as the fish in it do not dig, but the fine sand and fallen leaves on it create the maximum approximation to the biotope. Dry leaves serve as food for colonies of bacteria, and those for fry fish. In addition, the leaves make the water softer, secrete tannins and tannins and prevent skin diseases in fish.

  • Water temperature - 23-25 ° C
  • pH: 4.0 - 7.0
  • hardness - 4 to 7 °

This is a schooling fish, it is necessary to keep a brigit rastor at least 10-12 individuals. If the amount is less, they hide and behave timidly, most of the time they spend in the bushes. In addition, in a small flock the hierarchy is not so pronounced when the dominant male is the most active and bright of all.
As for compatibility, they themselves are peaceful, but due to their tiny size they can become victims of other fish. Ideal neighbors for rasbor brigitta - other types rasbor or small fish such as cardinals.

In nature, eat small larvae, zoo and phytoplankton, insects. Dry food is also eaten in an aquarium, but feeding them only is undesirable if you want to get bright fish. Bloodworm, tubule, coretr, artemia and daphnia - any food will do, just consider the size of the fish's mouth so that it can swallow it.

Gender differences

Females are noticeably fuller and often larger than males. Males are brighter colored and show their colors to each other.

Like most small carps, they spontaneously spawn, showing no care for caviar and fry. Under good conditions in the general aquarium, they can spawn every day, putting aside several eggs. In a balanced aquarium with a large number of plants and dry leaves at the bottom, the fry can survive and grow without human intervention.
If you want to grow the maximum number of fry, then the rasbor group is deposited into a separate aquarium or tanks with a capacity of 15-20 liters. It should be dimly lit, at the bottom you need to put a grid or a nylon thread so that it does not allow parents to eat caviar. You can use bundles of moss. Water parameters: pH 5.0-6.5, hardness 1-5 °, temperature a couple of degrees above normal, 24-28 ° C. Filtering is optional, but a weak internal filter can be used.
Two - three couples deposited in spawning, it is better to do it slowly, in order to avoid stress. Spawning begins the next morning.
Although parents can eat caviar, they do it not as actively as other carp. They can be left for several days, and spawning will continue every morning. Caviar and larvae are very small, almost imperceptible. The fry begins to swim on the 4-5 day and here begins the difficulty. Because of their tiny size, it is quite difficult to raise them, as a rule, successful breeding takes place in common aquariums, where there is a natural food - bacteria and other microorganisms. Ciliates starter feed for fry, yolk, then transferred to nautilia Artemia.
