As a result of the circulation of water caused by the flow of bubbles, the oxygen-rich upper layers are mixed with depleted lower layers. In addition, the circulation is also useful in that it mixes relatively warm upper layers with cooler bottom layers, thus creating uniform temperature conditions inside the aquarium. If your fish are constantly at the surface of the water and swallow air, then this is the first sign of oxygen deficiency. The presence of a filter in aquariums with goldfish is also a necessary condition, as mobile and voracious fish, taking food from the ground and constantly rummaging in it, pollute the water. The power of the aeration compressor and / or filter (measured by the amount of distilled water in liters over a certain period of time) is selected depending on the size (volume) of the aquarium. What to do if the water in the aquarium suddenly cooled down sharply? First establish the cause. If the heating pad is out of order, replace it. This is an obvious tip. But!
